When you are in the process of creating a change management strategy, you will want to consider the following:

  • What is the problem that you need to solve?  You want to identify your specific needs by defining a problem.
  • What is your current situation?  You want to make sure that you have an accurate image of where your business is currently.
  • What are your objectives for the long term?  You want to know your goals for the future.
  • What are the steps that need to be taken to help you reach these goals?  Set some objectives to ensure that you are able to move your company from the current state to where you want it to be.  This should include short term goals, and long term goals.
  • What are some ways that you can get your employees involved?  Involving your employees is vital because they can help you execute any plans for future growth and management of change.

If you want to successfully manage change, you will want to use effective leadership skills, innovative thinking skills, and extreme dedication to the success of your company.
